5 june 2010 Another familyday @ strand Horst

Lots of sun, no wind. A great day to go out for a familyday at the lakes. Kiddy surfstuff on the roofracks and of we go!
We went to Horst with friends and family. combined with a BBQ afterwards. My son went out for the first time this year in his swimshorts instead of wetsuit. surfgear: Malibuwave board and 1.5m2 nautic sail. It went great! but my son always ends up downwind. He surfs downwind and walks back upwind ;o) I actually need a kingsize beginnersboard though, that would be much easier for him. A board that has loads stability then a bigsize waveboard. But i dont have the space for boats like that.

As there was like no winds today, We all end up playing in a inflatable kiddy boat :-)

Forecasts coming week... NO wind @ all.. yikes
