POINT-7 SAILS !!! - My 2010 wave & race quiver.

I've sold my quiver NAISH Boxers '08 (4.0 to 6.2 m2) + my old Neilpryde combat 3.3 m2'05 for those tornado days. Coming season 2010, I'm going to switch my Naish quiver, and go for POINT-7 sails.
My wavequiver will mainly excist off powerwave sails.

I have orderd the 3.3m2 (yellow), 4.0m2 (red), 4.5m2 (yellow), 5.0m2 (red), 5.4m2 (yellow) and 6.6m2 (red).


POINT-7 SADO 2010

My race quiver, i would like to change this aswell to POINT-7.

The full-on race/speed sails AC1 LTDII '09.
My current racequiver 6.0 stealth proto'08, Loft Blade 6.8 and 7.5m2'08 will have to go, and are for sale at the moment.
3 sailsizes POINT 7 AC1 LTDII would do the job. A 6.2 m2, 6.7 m2 for GPS-speedsurfing combined with the Fanatic Falcon speed, and Falcon 80 and the 7.7 m2 for a bit of cruising with the Fanatic Falcon 105.

IJmuiden 16 oktober 2009 -Sideoffshore conditions

In the late afternoon, i had luckily some time left to hit some waves. After a long trafficjam, i finally arrived IJmuiden. A great swell with a north winddirection was hitting our coastlines. It was very crowded with tuns of windsurfers. I rigged up the Naish Boxer 4.0 and my SOS 82 which seems to have been the right choice for today. The conditions where gusty, nasty chop, but great swell came in, combined with a sideshore winddirection. Perfect! I had some really nice waverides today and tried even a few wave360's.
I did not do a lot of jumping today. Unfortunately i was quite late on the water, and darkness came in shortly after.

A short wicked in session it was. Hopefully more of these days to come! [I dont have pictures from todays session.]

3 oktober 2009 Wijk aan Zee - The Stormchase 30-50 knots

Yes Finally! A storm was hitting our coastlines. 8 to 10 beaufort in a sideonshore winddirection.



I went out there with the sos 68 and boxer 4.0m2 combined with a 340rdm mast.
Together with some friends. Martijn with the black Point 7 Sado 4.2m2, later on fully overpowerd. At first still a bit of controll left As you can see here below.

A radical day, unfortunately today with a lot of damage. Today i broke 2 100% rdm masts. Both powerbreakage in the middle section of the mast area. They didnt break by getting washed by waves. Or just an inch above the boom aera, just higher in the middle. Just by landing hard i guess. Did a lot of jumping today, i guess the rdm couldnt handle it anymore.

Today i went out for the first time packed up with helmet and impactvest.
